Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account or using Endless Storytime ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Endless Storytime.

2. Description of service

Endless Storytime is a subscription service that creates personalized, illustrated storybooks for children ages 2-8. Each story is generated using artificial intelligence based on information you provide about your child (name, age, appearance, preferences, scenario). Stories are delivered as downloadable PDFs with audio narration.

3. Subscription and billing

First Edition plan

The First Edition plan is $14.99 per month and includes 3 personalized stories per month, 3 custom characters, and a persistent story library. First Edition families pay an introductory rate of $9.99 for their first month. First Edition pricing is locked for 12 months from the date of subscription.

Billing

  • Your first month is billed at the introductory rate of $9.99.
  • After your first month, your payment method will be charged $14.99 monthly on the same day each month.
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time.
  • If you cancel during your first month, you will only be charged the introductory rate of $9.99.
  • After cancellation, you retain access to your library through the end of your current billing period.
  • We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

Refunds

Because stories are digitally generated and delivered, we generally do not offer refunds for stories that have been created. However, if a story has a significant quality issue (e.g., the wrong child name, garbled text, failed illustrations), please contact us at hello@EndlessStorytime.com and we will either regenerate the story or issue a credit at our discretion.

4. Content ownership

Your stories

You own the stories we create for you. You are free to download, print, share, and use your personalized stories for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may print copies for family and friends.

Our platform

The Endless Storytime platform, including its design, code, underlying story templates, illustration styles, and AI pipeline, remains our intellectual property. Your license to use generated stories does not grant rights to our platform or generation technology.

Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, we may use them to improve Endless Storytime without obligation to you.

5. AI-generated content

Stories, illustrations, and audio narration are generated by artificial intelligence. While we work hard to produce high-quality, age-appropriate content through our multi-stage review pipeline:

  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected output.
  • Illustrations are artistic interpretations and may not perfectly match your child's appearance.
  • We do not guarantee that every story will meet every family's standards or preferences.
  • If you receive a story you are unhappy with, contact us and we will work to make it right.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or inappropriate for children.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service or its underlying technology.
  • Use automated tools to bulk-generate stories or extract content.
  • Provide false information about your identity or your relationship to a child.
  • Share your account credentials with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Service availability

Endless Storytime is an early-stage product. We work hard to keep the Service running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Occasionally:

  • Story generation may take longer than expected due to high demand or technical issues.
  • The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates.
  • Features may change as we improve the product based on family feedback.

We will do our best to communicate any planned downtime in advance. If a story fails to generate, we will re-attempt or credit your account.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information and your child's information.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Endless Storytime and its founders, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
